Ringgold's Deborah Lubbe Selected for Social Enterprise Fellowship in India

Deborah Lubbe, a Ringgold native and 2008 graduate of Oglethorpe University, has been selected from more than 300 applicants to participate in the second annual IDEX Fellowship in Social Enterprise. Lubbe is one of 35 fellows from around the U.S. who traveled this month to Hyderabad, India to work in India's Affordable Private Schools. Lubbe will employ sustainable business models to implement programs to improve and develop these schools, which primarily serve India's underprivileged youth.

The IDEX Fellowship in Social Enterprise is a nine-month, paid, professional development program for post-graduates interested in the field of social enterprise. The program is funded by Gray Matters Capital of Atlanta and managed by Oglethorpe University. More information about the IDEX Fellowship may be found at www.oglethorpe.edu/idex.
